Resumen de proyecto de investigación
Soy Doctora en Biología formada en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina y realicé un postdoctorado en el Centro de Investigaciones en Ecosistemas, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Mi interesa indagar sobre la diversidad de interacciones ecológicas que establecen las plantas con otros organismos (polinización, herbivoría, etc.), cómo esas interacciones afectan la reproducción sexual y el vigor de las plantas y cómo ésto se refleja en el mantenimiento de la biodiversidad y los beneficios que las plantas brindan a la sociedad. Últimamente estoy estudiando el efecto de la calidad de la polinización y la herbivoría sobre las propiedades de plantas medicinales.
