Resumen de proyecto de investigación
Lucas D. Gorné trabaja en el área de Ecología (https://imbiv.conicet.unc.edu.ar/areas/ecologia/), particularmente en el grupo de Ecosistemas, diversidad y Sustentabilidad (https://imbiv.conicet.unc.edu.ar/areas/ecologia/ecosistemas-diversidad-y-sustentabilidad/), en el laboratorio de Sandra Díaz (https://imbiv.conicet.unc.edu.ar/integrantes/investigadores-2/d/diaz-sandra/). Estudia la ecología de comunidades y ecosistemas desde una perspectiva funcional. Sus principales áreas de interés son la evolución contemparánea, la interfaz entre evolución y procesos ecosistémicas y la herbivoría. También participa en proyectos interdisciuplinarios, en el marco de los proyectos del Nucleo Diversus (http://www.nucleodiversus.org/), que vinculan biodiversidad y conservación con cambios en el uso de la tierra, procesos, istituciones y actores sociales.
