Resumen de proyecto de investigación
Me interesa estudiar el ensamblaje de comunidades biológicas mediante el análisis de las redes de interacción entre especies. Para esto busco patrones en la estructura de redes de diferentes tipos de interacciones, hábitats y grupos taxonómicos, y por otro lado evalúo los factores que estarían determinando estos patrones. Conocer cómo se ensamblan las comunidades nos permite, también, entender la forma en que las perturbaciones derivadas de las actividades humanas se propagan y afectan a las especies. Para esto investigo mediante estudios de campo y simulaciones en computadora la forma en que se pierden especies en una red de interacciones entre plantas, herbívoros y parasitoides a lo largo de un gradiente de fragmentación del bosque chaqueño serrano.
