Resumen de proyecto de investigación

El programa de investigación que desarrollamos en socio-agroecosistemas se enfoca en articular nuevo conocimiento sobre distintos procesos ecológicos, las buenas prácticas agrarias, mejores rendimientos en los cultivos y la conservación de la biodiversidad, tendiente a promover un ordenamiento del territorio y cambios en la ética ambiental. El necesario cambio de percepción de los distintos actores sociales sobre los socio-agroecosistemas que se utilizan para la producción agraria, requiere que se enfaticen los beneficios de conservar la biodiversidad y que se visualice el vínculo indisoluble entre humanos y ambiente. Además, intentamos articular la coproducción del conocimiento desarrollado con productores, técnicos y gestores con los tomadores de decisiones, a través de distintas propuestas de conservación o valorización de la biodiversidad existente en el paisaje que incrementan los beneficios de los ecosistemas a la sociedad.
